Metz Open: Gaston reaches second round

Wildcard Hugo Gaston beat Terence Atmane 6-4, 6-1 to move into the second round of the Metz Open at the Arènes de Metz on Sunday evening.

Gaston, ranked No 101, will play the winner of the match between German Daniel Altmaier and Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech, the No 6 seed, next.
