Metz Open: Hurkacz books spot in last four

Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the second seed, won against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech 6-3, 6-2 to reach the last 4 of the Metz Open at Arènes de Metz on Friday.
Hurkacz, ranked No 10, will play Italian Lorenzo Sonego next.
The Pole beat Austrian Dominic Thiem (6-3, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
In the previous rounds of the Metz, Rinderknech, ranked No 60, edged out Spaniard Jaume Munar (6-2, 2-6, 7-5) and defeated Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili, the No 5 seed (7-6 (11), 6-3).
