Tiafoe books spot in Acapulco second round by beating Nishioka

American Frances Tiafoe, the No 6 seed, advanced to the second round of the Mexican Open by beating Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka 7-6 (6), 6-4 at the Princess Mundo Imperial in Acapulco on Monday night.
Tiafoe, ranked No 15, will face Spanish wildcard Feliciano López next.
