Miami Masters: Koepfer upsets Humbert to make last 16

German Dominik Koepfer advanced to the last 16 of the Miami Masters by winning against Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 14 seed, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday night.

Koepfer, ranked No 50, will play Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 3 seed, next.

In the previous rounds of the Miami Open, the German edged out American Marcos Giron (4-6, 6-1, 6-4) and beat Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 18 seed (6-3, 6-2).

Humbert, ranked No 15, won against Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Miami Open.
