Monte-Carlo Masters: Struff through to last 16

German qualifier Jan-Lennard Struff moved into the last 16 of the Monte-Carlo Masters by winning against Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 14 seed, 6-3, 6-2 at Monte-Carlo Country Club on Wednesday.

Struff, ranked No 100, will face the winner of the match between Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp and Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 4 seed, next.

The German beat Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Monte-Carlo tournament.

During the first round of the Monte-Carlo tournament, De Minaur, ranked No 19, won against Andy Murray (6-1, 6-3).
