Munich Open: Zverev eases past compatriot Altmaier to book spot in last eight
Alexander Zverev won against Daniel Altmaier 6-3, 6-2 on Wednesday and will play either Tallon Griekspoor or Yannick Hanfmann in the next round

Top seed Alexander Zverev reached the quarter-finals of the Munich Open by winning against wildcard Daniel Altmaier 6-3, 6-2 at the MTTC Iphitos complex.
Zverev, ranked No 3, will face the winner of the match between Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor and German wildcard Yannick Hanfmann next.
Alexander Zverev beat Frenchman Alexandre Muller (6-4, 6-1) in the previous round of the Munich tournament.
In the previous round of the Munich tournament, Altmaier, ranked No 68, defeated qualifier Chun-Hsin Tseng (7-6 (5), 7-6 (5)).
