Munich Open: Shelton books spot in second round
Ben Shelton edged out Borna Gojo 4-6, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (3) on Monday and will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut and Dutch lucky loser Botic van de Zandschulp in the next round

American Ben Shelton, the second seed, reached the second round of the Munich Open by edging out Croat qualifier Borna Gojo 4-6, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (3) at the MTTC Iphitos complex on Monday.
Shelton, ranked No 15, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut and Dutch lucky loser Botic van de Zandschulp next.
