Queen’s: Cerundolo beats Paul to reach second round

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 8 seed, edged out American qualifier Tommy Paul 7-6 (2), 4-6, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the cinch Championships at Queen’s Club in London on Monday evening.

Cerundolo, ranked No 19, will play the winner of the match between Bulgarian qualifier Grigor Dimitrov and Finn Emil Ruusuvuori next.
