Rome Masters: De Minaur makes sixth consecutive Masters 1000 last 16 with win over Dellien

The Australian is the only players to make the quarter-finals at every Masters 1000 event in 2025.

Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 7 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Rome Masters by winning against lucky loser Hugo Dellien 6-4, 6-4 at the Foro Italico in Roma on Monday.

De Minaur, ranked No 8, will face the winner of the match between American Tommy Paul, the No 11 seed, and No 19 seed Tomas Machac next.

Ahead of his victory, the Australian defeated Italian wildcard Luca Nardi (6-4, 7-5).

Dellien, ranked No 103, edged out Brazilian qualifier Thiago Seyboth Wild (4-6, 6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Italian Open.
