Novak Djokovic did it first. Jannik Sinner just became the second man in history to complete the set. The Career Golden Masters is one of the rarest achievements in professional tennis: winning at least one title at every ATP Masters 1000 event.

With nine tournaments spread across four continents and three surfaces, the feat demands sustained excellence on hard court, clay, and indoor. Only two players have completed the full collection since the start of the ATP Tour in 1990 – Novak Djokovic, who first accomplished it in 2018, and Jannik Sinner, who joined him in 2026. This page compares their Masters 1000 records event by event.

What Is the Career Golden Masters?

The ATP Tour features nine Masters 1000 events, the tier just below the four Grand Slams. Winning all nine at least once over the course of a career is known as the Career Golden Masters. The challenge lies in the variety: Indian Wells, Miami, Canada, Cincinnati, and Shanghai are played on hard courts; Monte-Carlo, Madrid, and Rome on clay; and Paris indoors. No other active player has yet completed the set.

Novak Djokovic: The First to Achieve It

Djokovic completed the Career Golden Masters at the 2018 Cincinnati Masters, the last event missing from his collection. With 40 Masters 1000 titles overall, an all-time record, the Serbian champion has won at least two titles at every single event. Paris leads his tally with seven crowns, followed by Miami and Rome with six apiece.

Jannik Sinner: The Fastest Path to the Golden Masters

The Italian completed the set during the 2026 clay-court swing, capping a remarkable run that saw him claim Monte-Carlo, Madrid, and Rome in a single season. Sinner’s first Masters 1000 title came at Canada in 2023, and within three years he had checked off all nine events – an unprecedented pace. At just 24, he is by far the youngest player to achieve the Career Golden Masters.

No. He won 28 Masters 1000 titles across 7 of the 9 events, but he never won Monte-Carlo or Rome. He reached the Monte-Carlo final once and the Rome final twice, but the clay Masters eluded him.
