Rome Masters: Fils dismantles Griekspoor to reach the third round

Frenchman Arthur Fils, the No 13 seed, moved into the third round of the Rome Masters by winning against Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor 6-2, 6-2 at the Foro Italico on Friday.

Fils, ranked No 14, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Alexandre Muller and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 18 seed, next.

Griekspoor, ranked No 35, had defeated Serb Miomir Kecmanovic (4-6, 6-3, 6-0) in the previous round of the Italian Open.
