Rome Masters: Giron into third round, knocks out Fritz

Marcos Giron moved into the third round of the Rome Masters by defeating No 4 seed Taylor Fritz 7-6 (4), 7-6 (3) at the Foro Italico in Roma on Saturday.
Giron, ranked No 45, will face Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 30 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, Marcos Giron edged out Canadian Gabriel Diallo (3-6, 6-3, 6-4).
