Rotterdam Open: Wawrinka moves into quarter-finals

Swiss Stan Wawrinka moved into the quarter-finals of the Rotterdam Open by beating Frenchman Richard Gasquet 6-3, 6-3 at the Rotterdam Ahoy on Wednesday.
Wawrinka, ranked No 130, will play the winner of the match between Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the top seed, and Italian Jannik Sinner next.
The 37-year-old Swiss won against Kazakh Alexander Bublik (7-6 (5), 6-4) in the previous round of the Rotterdam tournament.
During the first round of the Rotterdam tournament, Gasquet, ranked No 45, defeated Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the No 7 seed (2-6, 7-6 (2), 6-2).
