Rune dominates Khachanov to make final in Barcelona
The Dane will play either Carlos Alcaraz or Arthur Fils on Sunday

Denmark’s Holger Rune, the No 6 seed, produced an outstanding performance as he beat Russian Karen Khachanov 6-3, 6-2 to move into the final of the Barcelona Open on Saturday.
Rune, ranked No 13, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, and Frenchman Arthur Fils, the No 7 seed, next.
The 21-year-old Dane won against Spanish wildcard Albert Ramos-Vinolas (7-5, 6-4), Argentinian Sebastian Baez (4-6, 6-1, 6-2) and Norwegian Casper Ruud, the second seed (6-4, 6-2) in the previous rounds of the Barcelona tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Khachanov, ranked No 27, won against qualifier Cameron Norrie (6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-3), Spaniard Jaume Munar (7-5, 6-4) and Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (6-4, 7-5).
