San Diego Open: Tabilo moves into second round

Alejandro Tabilo defeated Steve Johnson 7-5, 6-2 on Thursday night and will play Frenchman Constant Lestienne in the next round

Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, the No 6 seed, moved into the second round of the San Diego Open by beating American Steve Johnson 7-5, 6-2 at the Barnes Tennis Centre on Thursday night.

Tabilo, ranked No 70, will play Frenchman Constant Lestienne next.
