Frenchman Arthur Cazaux reached the second round of the Shanghai Masters by winning against Croat Marin Cilic 6-4, 6-4 at the Qi Zhong Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Cazaux, ranked No 92, will face No 16 seed Ugo Humbert next.
