Shanghai Masters: 22nd seed Jarry moves into third round

Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 22 seed, won against French qualifier Terence Atmane 7-5, 6-2 to move into the third round of the Shanghai Masters at the Qi Zhong Stadium on Saturday.

Jarry, ranked No 22, will face the winner of the match between American Frances Tiafoe, the No 10 seed, and Italian Lorenzo Sonego next.

In the previous round of the tournament, Atmane, ranked No 148, beat Australian Jordan Thompson (6-3, 3-6, 6-1).
