Hungarian Fabian Marozsan advanced to the last 16 of the Shanghai Masters by defeating Serb Dusan Lajovic 6-3, 6-3 at the Qi Zhong Stadium.
Marozsan, ranked No 91, will face Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 8 seed, next.
The Hungarian won against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech (7-6 (6), 6-2) and Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 11 seed (6-3, 7-5) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Shanghai tournament, Lajovic, ranked No 55, beat Swiss Stan Wawrinka (6-4, 7-6 (7)) and Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 23 seed (6-4, 3-2 ret.).
