Shanghai Masters: Rublev crushes Mannarino to advance to last 16

Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 5 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Shanghai Masters by winning against Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the No 31 seed, 6-3, 6-0 at the Qi Zhong Stadium on Monday.

Rublev, ranked No 7, will face the winner of the match between American Tommy Paul, the No 12 seed, and Frenchman Arthur Fils next.

The Russian defeated Frenchman Quentin Halys (6-4, 7-5) in the previous round of the Shanghai tournament.

In the previous round of the Shanghai tournament, Mannarino, ranked No 23, beat Chun-Hsin Tseng (6-2, 6-2).
