Sofia Open: Australian Vukic sets up clash with top seed Sinner in quarter-finals

Australian Aleksandar Vukic defeated Spaniard Fernando Verdasco 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 to move into the last eight of the Sofia Open at the Arena Armeec Sofia on Thursday evening.
Vukic, ranked No 144, will face Italian Jannik Sinner, the top seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Australian won against Italian Fabio Fognini (7-6 (11), 7-5).
Verdasco, ranked No 116, beat Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili, the No 6 seed (7-6 (1), 7-5) in the previous round of the Sofia.
