Hungarian Marton Fucsovics, the No 8 seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Sofia Open by beating French qualifier Terence Atmane 7-6 (4), 6-3 on Tuesday evening.
47th-ranked Fucsovics improves to 21-20 overall on the season, and 13-8 in opening rounds.
Fucsovics, ranked No 47, will face Austrian Jurij Rodionov next.
