Sonego impresses with win over Kecmanovic in Indian Wells

Italian Lorenzo Sonego beat Serb Miomir Kecmanovic 7-6 (1), 6-4 to reach the second round of the Indian Wells Masters at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Thursday.

Sonego, ranked No 55, will play No 28 seed Cameron Norrie next.
