Stockholm Open: Griekspoor ends Fearnley run to reach quarter-finals

Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 7 seed, reached the last eight of the Stockholm Open by defeating qualifier Jacob Fearnley 7-6, 6-3 at the Kungliga Tennishallen.
Griekspoor, ranked No 37, will play the winner of the match between Italian Lorenzo Sonego and Norwegian Casper Ruud, the second seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Dutchman won against Russian Pavel Kotov (6-4, 6-3).
Fearnley, ranked No 99, won against Frenchman Corentin Moutet (6-2, 7-6 (5)) in the previous round of the Stockholm tournament.
