Canadian Denis Shapovalov, the No 3 seed, advanced to the semi-finals of the Stockholm Open by beating Swede wildcard Elias Ymer 6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-1 at the Kungliga Tennishallen on Friday evening. Shapovalov, ranked No 23, will face Norwegian Casper Ruud, the second seed, next.
