Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 4 seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Stuttgart Open by winning against Australian Christopher O’Connell 6-4, 6-4 at Tennis Club Weissenhof on Friday afternoon.
Hurkacz, ranked No 14, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Richard Gasquet and German Jan-Lennard Struff next.
