Constant Lestienne advanced to the second round of the Tel Aviv Open by winning against No 7 seed Adrian Mannarino 7-6 (2), 6-4 at Expo Tel Aviv on Wednesday.

Lestienne, ranked No 68, will play Finn Emil Ruusuvuori next.
