Australian Alex De Minaur moved into the last 16 of the Toronto Masters by beating Canadian wildcard Gabriel Diallo 6-4, 7-5 at the Aviva Centre on Wednesday evening.
De Minaur, ranked No 18, will play American Taylor Fritz, the No 8 seed, next.
