Toronto Masters: Sonego advances to third round and sets up a match against Rublev

Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the No 28 seed, defeated Chinese Yunchaokete Bu 6-1, 6-4 to move into the third round of the Toronto Masters at the Aviva Centre on Wednesday.
Sonego, ranked No 38, will play Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 6 seed, next. Russian Andrey Rublev defeated Frenchman Hugo Gaston 6-2, 6-3 eralier in the afternoon.
In the previous round of the Rogers Cup, Bu, ranked No 75, won against Czech Vit Kopriva (7-6 (4), 6-2).
