Tseng upsets Tabilo in Rio de Janeiro
Chun-Hsin Tseng ousted No 3 seed Alejandro Tabilo 6-2, 7-5 on Monday in Rio de Janeiro. Next up for Tseng is an all-useeded showdown against Thiago Monteiro.

Chun-Hsin Tseng advanced to the second round of the Rio Open by knocking off Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, the No 3 seed, 6-2, 7-5 at the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro on Monday night.
The qualifier struck six aces to Tabilo’s zero while advancing in one hour and 36 minutes.
Tseng, ranked No 125, will face Brazil’s Thiago Monteiro for a spot in the quarter-finals. Monteiro advanced earlier on Monday with a three-set victory over Facundo Diaz Acosta.
Tabilo, ranked No 28, has not yet won a single match this season (0-5).
