The first round match between Australian Max Purcell and German Daniel Altmaier was postponed to Thursday after weather forced cancellation of play the US Clay Court Championships at River Oaks Country Club in Houston.
Purcell won the first set 6-4 before play was halted and the match moved to Thursday.
The winner of the match will face No 8 seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry next.
