Australian Open: De Minaur into second round as Raonic retires
Alex De Minaur benefited from the abandonment of Milos Raonic (6-7 (6), 6-3, 2-0) on Monday. He’ll play Italian Matteo Arnaldi in the next round

Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 10 seed, moved into the second round of the Australian Open when Canadian Milos Raonic retired on Monday evening at Melbourne Park.
De Minaur, ranked No 10, led 6-7 (6), 6-3, 2-0 when Raonic, ranked No 319, pulled out on Monday night at Melbourne Park. The Australian will play Italian Matteo Arnaldi next.
