Draws for September’s Davis Cup World Group I and World Group II ties released

Top seeds Germany will travel to Bosnia & Herzegovina and second seeds Kazakhstan will travel to Bulgaria in World Group I ties

The draws for the Davis Cup World Group I and World Group II fixtures, which will be held in mid-September, were released on Thursday by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

In World Group I, top seeds Germany will travel to Bosnia & Herzegovina, second seeds Kazakhstan will travel to Bulgaria, third seeds Belgium will host Uzbekistan and fourth seed Argentina will host Lithuania.

  • (2) Kazakhstan vs Bulgaria (host)
  • (3) Belgium (host) vs Uzbekistan
  • (4) Argentina (host) vs Lithuania
  • (5) Colombia vs Ukraine (host)
  • (6) Hungary (host) vs Turkey
  • (7) Israel vs Japan (host)
  • (8) Austria (host) vs Belgium
  • (9) Slovakia vs Greece (host)
  • (10) Norway vs Peru (host)
  • (11) Romania (host) vs Chinese Taipei

Winners from World Group I will advance to the 2024 Davis Cup Qualifiers next year with a chance to make the Davis Cup Finals in 2024.

In World Group II, top seeds Ecuador will travel to Monaco while second seeds India will host Morocco. The winners of World Group Ii ties will compete in the 2024 World Group I playoffs alongside the losing nations from World Group I
