Gasquet, Wawrinka head wildcards for Roland-Garros
The Frenchman will play his 22nd French Open while former champion Wawrinka will appear for a 20th time

Frenchman Richard Gasquet, who will retire from tennis after Roland-Garos, and former champion Stan Wawrinka headed the list of wildcards for this year’s event, released by the French Tennis Federation on Tuesday.
Gasquet, who turns 39 next month, will play a 22nd French Open while Wawrinka, one year older at 40 and the winner of the title in 2016, will make his 20th appearance at Roland-Garros.
Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Arthur Cazaux also received wildcards while in the women’s draw, Chloe Paquet and Diane Parry were among the recipients.
Roland-Garros begins in Paris on May 23.
