Griekspoor through to second round in Paris, beating Monte-Carlo finalist Davidovich Fokina

Tallon Griekspoor won against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 2-6, 6-0, 6-4, 6-3 on Sunday afternoon. He’ll face the winner of the next match between American Brandon Nakashima and Pole Kamil Majchrzak in the next round.

Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor moved into the second round of the French Open by defeating Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, seed number 25, and quarter finalist in 2021, 2-6, 6-0, 6-4, 6-3 at Stade Roland-Garros in Paris on Sunday.

Griekspoor, ranked No 64, will play the winner of the next match between American Brandon Nakashima and Pole Kamil Majchrzak next.
