No 20 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova moved into the last 16 of Roland-Garros by beating Veronika Kudermetova 6-2, 6-2.
Alexandrova, ranked No 20, will face the winner of the match between Marie Bouzkova and American Coco Gauff, the second seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, Ekaterina Alexandrova won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti (6-3, 6-2) and Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto (6-1, 6-3).
Kudermetova, ranked No 46, won against Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova (7-5, 6-1) and No 15 seed Barbora Krejcikova (6-0, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
