Roland-Garros: Gracheva beats Begu to move into last 16
Varvara Gracheva beat Irina-Camelia Begu 7-5, 6-3. She’ll face the winner of the match between Mirra Andreeva and Peyton Stearns in the next round

Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva reached the last 16 of Roland-Garros by beating Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu 7-5, 6-3 in Paris.
Gracheva, ranked No 88, will play the winner of the match between Russian Mirra Andreeva and American Peyton Stearns next.
The Frenchwoman beat Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 6 seed (3-6, 6-4, 6-3) and American Bernarda Pera (6-1, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds, Begu, ranked No 127, won against Argentinian qualifier Julia Riera (6-2, 6-2) and No 27 seed Linda Noskova (6-4, 6-2).
