Roland-Garros: Kopriva beats Monteiro to reach second round

Vit Kopriva won against Brazilian Thiago Monteiro 6-4, 6-3, 4-6, 6-7 (6), 6-1 to move into the second round of Roland-Garros in Paris on Sunday.

Kopriva, ranked No 85, will face the winner of the match between German Daniel Altmaier and American Taylor Fritz, the No 4 seed, next.
