Roland-Garros: Muchova streak continues, beats Begu to book spot in last 16

Czech Karolina Muchova advanced to the last 16 of Roland-Garros by beating Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu, the No 27 seed, 6-3, 6-2 in Paris on Friday.
Muchova, ranked No 43, will play Russian lucky loser Elina Avanesyan next.
The Czech won against Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 8 seed (7-6 (5), 7-5) and Argentinian Nadia Podoroska (6-3, 0-6, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Begu, ranked No 27, defeated Hungarian Anna Bondar (6-4, 6-2) and Italian Sara Errani (6-3, 6-0).
