Roland-Garros: Rublev rolls on in Paris, overcomes home hope Moutet in four sets

Andrey Rublev advanced to the third round of Roland-Garros by winning against Frenchman Corentin Moutet 6-4, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.

Rublev is enjoying a fruitful clay-court season, having recently won his first Masters 1000 title in Monte-Carlo at the start of the clay stretch. He will play Italian Lorenzo Sonego next.

The Russian edged out Serb Laslo Djere (6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4) ahead of his victory.

In the previous round, Moutet, ranked No 61, edged out wildcard Arthur Cazaux (6-1, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4).
