Alex de Minaur – otherwise known as “The Demon” – joins the fray for the Bastide Médical UTS Nîmes in April.
The Australian has twice won a UTS event – most recently London’s Grand Final in 2024 following his debut win at UTS 3 in Antwerp back in 2020. Now a four-time Grand Slam quarter-finalist, he achieved his career-high ranking of world No 6 last year – a season in which he made the quarter-finals of three of the four Grand Slams.
He joins Taylor “The Hotshot” Fritz, Holger “The Viking” Rune, Gael “La Monf” Monfils, Andrey “Rublo” Rublev, Casper “The Iceman” Ruud and Ugo “The Commander” Humbert in the field for the event, which takes place at the iconic Arènes de Nîmes on April 4 and 5, 2025, marking the start of the European clay-court season. There is a total prize pot of 1,000,000 USD, including a guaranteed 300,000 USD for the winner.
Tickets are on sale now on UTS.live.
