- 0.17” : Nicolas Almagro faced Rafael Nadal in 2008 on Court Philippe-Chatrier. Overwhelmed by the King of Clay, Almagro declared that Nadal would win the tournament 40 times in a row until he turned 65! On Twitter, just after Nadal’s 14th title in Paris on Sunday, Almagro humorously said, “My prediction is coming true!”
- 0.40”: At home, in front of her TV, Alize Cornet was thrilled by Rafael Nadal’s match point at the French Open, exulting on the Spaniard’s victory and being very happy with the outcome.
- 1’17: On its official Twitter account, the Rafa Nadal Academy posted a picture of Nadal’s trophy cabinet, adding that things would become tighter in the cabinet after the 22nd Slam trophy would be added in there.
- 1’24: Former professional basketball player Pau Gasol was in Paris to support his friend Rafa. Gasol also posed with the Majorcan and the Coupe des Mousquetaires to celebrate the victory!!
