Novak Djokovic faces the toughest of tasks if he is to equal Roger Federer by winning an eighth Wimbledon title – and win a record 25th Grand Slam crown – after he landed in a loaded top half of the draw, which was made at the All England Club on Friday.
The 38-year-old begins against Alexandre Muller of France but has Tomas Machac and Alex Michelsen as possible early opponents, could play Jack Draper in the quarter-finals and top seed Jannik Sinner in the semis and that’s before a likely final against Carlos Alcaraz, the two-time defending champion.
