Wimbledon: Andreeva moves into third round
The seventh seed will play the winner of the match between American Hailey Baptiste and Canadian lucky loser Victoria Mboko in the next round

Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva, the No 7 seed, won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti 6-1, 7-6 (4) to move into the third round of Wimbledon on Thursday.
Andreeva, ranked No 7, will face the winner of the match between American Hailey Baptiste and Canadian lucky loser Victoria Mboko next at the All England Club in London
Ahead of her win today, the 18-year-old Russian, who reached the last 16 here two years ago, defeated Egyptian Mayar Sherif (6-3, 6-3). She now has won 34 matches on the tour in 2025.
Bronzetti, ranked No 63, won against Swiss Jil Teichmann (6-4, 7-5) in the previous round of the tournament.
