Badosa breezes past Bara, reaches third round

Spaniard Paula Badosa, the No 4 seed, won against Romanian Irina Bara 6-3, 6-2 to reach the third round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday.
Badosa, ranked No 4, will face the winner of the match between Romanian Ana Bogdan and Czech Petra Kvitova, the No 25 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Spaniard defeated American qualifier Louisa Chirico (6-2, 6-1).
Bara, ranked No 122, beat Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet (6-2, 6-4) in the previous round.
