Belinda Bencic edges Danielle Collins to reach Wimbledon’s third round

Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 14 seed, moved into the third round of Wimbledon by edging out American Danielle Collins 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (3) at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday evening.
Bencic, ranked No 14, will face Pole Magda Linette, the No 23 seed, next.
In the previous round of The Championships, the Swiss won against wildcard Katie Swan (7-5, 6-2).
Collins, ranked No 52, defeated Austrian Julia Grabher (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of The Championships.
