Wimbledon: Galfi moves into third round, defeats Haddad Maia

Hungarian Dalma Galfi reached the third round of Wimbledon by winning against Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the No 21 seed, 7-6 (7), 6-1 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday evening.
Galfi, ranked No 110, will face American Amanda Anisimova, the No 13 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Hungarian edged out wildcard Harriet Dart (3-6, 6-3, 7-5).
Haddad Maia, ranked No 20, defeated Slovak Rebecca Sramkova (7-6 (7), 6-4) in the previous round of The Championships.
