Wimbledon: Navarro books spot in last 16 against Gauff
Emma Navarro edged out Diana Shnaider 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the third round on Friday

American Emma Navarro, the No 19 seed, advanced to the last 16 of Wimbledon by edging out Russian Diana Shnaider 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Friday.
Navarro, ranked No 17, will play Coco Gauff, the second seed, next.
The American beat Chinese Qiang Wang (6-0, 6-2) and Japanese wildcard Naomi Osaka (6-4, 6-1) in the previous rounds of The Championships.
Earlier in the tournament, Shnaider, ranked No 30, edged out Karolina Pliskova (4-6, 6-4, 7-5) and won against American Sloane Stephens (6-1, 6-1).
