Wimbledon: Rublev comfortable against Mannarino, makes last 16
Andrey Rublev beat Adrian Mannarino 7-5, 6-2, 6-3 and will face either Jan-Lennard Struff or Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the second seed, in the next round

Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 14 seed, reached the last 16 of Wimbledon by defeating French qualifier Adrian Mannarino 7-5, 6-2, 6-3 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Rublev, ranked No 14, will face the winner of the match between German Jan-Lennard Struff and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the second seed, next.
In the previous rounds of The Championships, the Russian edged out Serb Laslo Djere (6-0, 7-6 (5), 6-7 (9), 7-6 (6)) and won against South African Lloyd Harris (6-7 (1), 6-4, 7-6 (5), 6-3).
Mannarino, ranked No 123, beat Australian Christopher O’Connell (6-2, 6-4, 6-3) and edged out qualifier Valentin Royer (6-4, 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (1)) earlier in the tournament.
