Antalya Open: Bouzas Maneiro moves into last eight

No 5 seed Jessica Bouzas Maneiro moved into the quarter-finals of the Antalya Open by winning against qualifier Leyre Romero Gormaz 6-1, 7-5 at the Megasaray Tennis Academy on Thursday night.

Bouzas Maneiro, ranked No 127, will play Russian Polina Kudermetova next.

In the previous round of the Antalya tournament, Jessica Bouzas Maneiro defeated Hungarian Panna Udvardy (2-6, 6-3, 6-3).

Romero Gormaz, ranked No 276, won against wildcard Ada Kumru (6-0, 7-5) in the previous round of the Antalya tournament.
