Argentina Open: Mandlik reaches quarter-finals

No 3 seed Elizabeth Mandlik beat Jamie Loeb 6-0, 7-5 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Argentina Open at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on Wednesday evening.
Mandlik, ranked No 113, will face the winner of the match between Mexican Renata Zarazua, the No 6 seed, and Argentinian wildcard Luisina Giovannini next.
In the previous round of the Argentinian tournament, Elizabeth Mandlik edged out Argentinian Martina Capurro Taborda (4-6, 6-4, 6-4).
Loeb, ranked No 302, won against Greek Despina Papamichail (6-3, 6-2) in the previous round of the Argentinian tournament.
